A passport is always required to get in and out of countries but what about visas and student visas. Do you need one?

Citizens of the EU, EEA countries, Australia, New Zealand, North America, South America, Japan and Israel will need passports to get in and out of the following countries. Visas are not required if your stay is less than 90 days. Your passport must be valid for 6 months from the date of your return to your country and it must also have at least one clean page.

Andorra                                 Italy
Austria                                  Liechtenstein
Czech Republic                     Luxembourg
Denmark                               Monaco
Finland                                  Morocco
France                                   Netherlands
Germany                               Norway
Greece                                  Poland
Hungary                                Spain
Belgium                                Sweden
                                             Switzerland
                                             Turkey

Great Britain and Ireland only require Passports. No visas are necessary for tourists for any amount of time, unless you are a student or plan on living there. Again, a valid passport with at least 6 months left from the date of your return and one clean page.
